The Rahab Ministries Sponsorship Program enables women to leave the bars and engage in vocational training or further education. Children of the bar women are sponsored to attend school and the young girls “at risk” of entering prostitution are also helped to find other employment.
One of the reasons girls become involved in prostitution is that they have little or no education, and have insufficient employable skills to have adequate job options. Rahab Ministries Sponsorship Program gives women an opportunity to leave prostitution and train for better employment.

How sponsorship works
An individual woman or child can be sponsored. Sponsorship costs vary depending on the course of study, and the personal and family situations of the women and children.
Typically 8000 baht (US$240 per month) is nesessary to cover living and training expenses of a woman in Bangkok. Full or partial sponsorship is urgently needed to support these brave women in their decision to leave the sex industry. Even a one time gift would help our sponsorship programme as every baht counts.
Sponsorship is not merely financial aid but also a way in which the sponsor can become involved in the spiritual life and development of the woman.
